How To Unlock 4th Weapon Slot In Borderlands

At the start of Borderlands 3, your Vault Hunter has 2 weapon slots, a shield slot, and a slot for a grenade mod. Throughout the tutorial, you will find gear to fill up those inventory slots and create a nice loadout. However, there are more slots that you can unlock throughout the game. There are 2 more weapons slots, a slot for your class mod, and a slot for an artifact that you can unlock. Depending on your playstyle this can take a while to unlock them all. Because these additional loadout slots will become available by completing certain story missions. So if you are a completionist and do all the side-missions and crew challenges it can take a while to get access to all the inventory slots.

How to unlock 4th weapon slot in Borderlands

Unlocking weapon slots in Borderlands 3 is as simple as purchasing the Storage Deck Upgrade from Sanctuary or just progressing through the game. However, the SDU will only be available after a certain amount of story progress.

Borderlands 3 players will start with two weapon slots and then to unlock the third weapon slot they will need to unlock Sanctuary. This requires completing the main story mission on Pandora and taking off in the ship.

While aboard Sanctuary, players can visit a number of vendors, including Marcus who sells the SDUs. He will have SDUs for increasing ammo capacity of every ammo type, upgrades for the bank and lost loot, and in the top right is an upgrade for the weapon slots. Unfortunately, while the other SDUs will replenish after buying one, the weapon slot SDU does not.

Getting the fourth weapon slot in Borderlands 3 is going to take a lot more progress than unlocking the third. Basically, players will need to complete all of the main missions on the planet Promethea and the fourth slot will unlock automatically.

In Borderlands 3 there are numerous weapon slots to unlock throughout the course of the game. Unlocking all four slots allows you to carry and switch between different types of weapons more quickly instead of having to head into the character menu and switch them out.

Weapon slots are unlocked by progressing through the main story and not by finishing sub-quests or buying upgrades. The third one is unlocked before you leave Pandora, while the fourth and final one is unlocked after finishing the second planet, Promethea.

I remembered I unlocked a third weapon slot early in the game but I don't remember how. No I'm level 19 and the Siren is level 13 but still only has 2 weapon slots open. Anybody remember how to unlock it. I played all the missions with that character. Thanks

The reason that the Borderlands 3 Artifacts can be so confusing is because you'll unlock the class mod and final weapon slot in your inventory a long time before you unlock the Artifact slot. It's sitting there, taunting you with the contents within, like a lockbox emitting the smell of tasty treats. You want to access the goodies within, but you can't until the game says you can.

But when is that exactly? Well you'll need to play a lot of the game first. Once you finish the Chapter 16 main story mission "Cold as the Grave", you'll be able to equip Artifacts that you may have collected beforehand. Yes, the game will be giving you items you can't equip beforehand, thus making the torture more arduous. Finish the mission and you'll finally unlock the Artifact slot.

There are up to four weapon slots that can be used in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, but not all of them are unlocked at the start of the game. Some of the weapon slots can only be unlocked by progressing through the main story. None of the weapon slot upgrades are missable because they are main quest rewards, but it will take a few hours of playing to unlock them, even if players are focusing solely on the story missions.

At the start of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, players will be able to use two weapon slots. Having only two unlocked will likely become an inconvenience early on as players begin to collect a large number of weapons and spells. To quickly get four weapon slots, players will need to focus only on the main story missions. Completing both "Thy Bard, With a Vengeance" and "Ballad of Bones" will unlock the two additional weapon slots.

"Thy Bard, With a Vengeance" is the fourth story mission, and "Ballad of Bones" is the sixth, so players will need to progress to at least the seventh main quest to have all of the available weapon slots unlocked. Depending on how quickly players can finish the story missions, and whether or not they're completing side activities, the additional weapon slots can be unlocked in just a couple of hours. Focusing on unlocking the weapon slots will give players more options later when they start getting a massive number of weapons and spells to use in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Next, Torgue will lead players to a barrier where the third group of Skeletons will spawn, and after they're dealt with, the Heart of the Forest will be accessible. Proceeding forward will lead players to the Corruption Heart where the Banshee needs to be defeated in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands to finish the mission. The Banshee will use ranged shock attacks and a purple mist that surrounds the outer ring of the arena. Once the Banshee is defeated, players can free Fairy Punchfather, then a short cutscene will play. When Torgue teleports back to the docks, the mission will end and the third weapon slot will be unlocked. There's one mission in between unlocking the third and fourth weapon slots, so players will need to complete "Emotion of the Ocean" to reach the "Ballad of Bones" story mission for the last slot.

The fourth and final weapon slot can be unlocked by completing the "Ballad of Bones" main story mission. From the Overworld, players can head to Wargtooth Shallows in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands where they can begin traversing the exposed seabed. As players move forward, Tina will add Bones Three-Wood to the area in front of the gate. Once the skeleton pirate opens the gate, players will need to collect Polly's parts in the immediate area. One part is in the Crow's Nest on the broken mast, another is in the lower cabin of the wrecked ship, and the last one can be collected from a Bone Crab. Finding all the parts will trigger a fight with Mobley Dick who is waiting in the nearby cave. Defeating Mobley Dick will give players the last part they need to restore Polly.

Defeating Chartreuse LeChance's crew aboard the Marley Maiden will allow players to collect and replace the ship's wheel. The ship's flag can be found on the lower deck, then the Second Mate can be defeated to collect the figurehead. After replacing the parts, playing the nearby bones will raise the ghost ship. With the ship raised, the Fatemaker can head through the tunnel to find and defeat LeChance at the wreck of the Tempest's Scorn. The crew will need to be defeated first, then LeChance will jump down and join the fight. LeChance will constantly chase the Fatemaker, so running and using a gun in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands to deal damage works best for this boss fight. The last step of the "Ballad of Bones" mission is to continue to the Nerpern Gate. As soon as the quest ends, the final slot will be unlocked, and players will be able to equip four weapons at once in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

In classic Borderlands style, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands features a full slew of unique weapons and guns to use. However, you will only have two weapon slots when first starting the game. Much like Borderlands games, you will be able to unlock more weapon slots in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

To unlock more weapon slots in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, you must complete two main missions, each rewarding one new weapon slot. The first mission that will reward a weapon slot is Thy Bard, With a Vengeance and the second story mission that rewards the fourth and final weapon slot is Ballad of Bones. You can do both missions in the first half of the game, so you will not have to go too long without additional weapon slots.

The Thy Bard, With a Vengeance mission tasks you to complete a few objectives before travelling out to find a bard. After following the mission to Torgue, the half-bard, you will have to defeat a few mobs of enemies and fight the Banshee boss. After completing the mission, you will be rewarded with money, a melee weapon, and a new weapon slot.

The Ballad of the Bones story mission will take you to a strange seabed filled with skeletons and more weird enemies. This mission is required to advance in the story and will reward the final weapon slot. It may be a good idea to advance in the story to this mission just so you can use up to four weapons. Four weapon slots is the maximum you can have, but it should be more than enough to have a variety of weapons to use on any enemy. 350c69d7ab
